New Solar Tariff Results in 10% Increase in Solar Energy Costs for Canadians
March 5th was even worse than we expected for Solar in Canada.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal ensured that no solar modules made in China will ever be sold in Canada again with a new solar tariff that nearly triples their prices. Importers must pay a duty of 174% for CSI modules, 202% for Suntech modules, and 286% for all newcomers. Continue reading
